Lifestyles Inventory - Conflict™ (LSI)

LSI Conflict™ helps people analyze and understand whether their thinking and behaviour helps or blocks their ability to deal constructively with conflict situations

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize your general orientation toward conflict situations
  • Identify and describe the conflict styles with the greatest influence on your conflict orientation
  • Explain the constructive and destructive characteristics of these conflict styles
  • Demonstrate how the three general conflict orientations influence conflict situations in both positive and negative ways
  • Develop and implement a plan of action to improve the way you currently handle conflict situations

Managing Challenging & Courageous Conversations

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the five conflict management approaches and recognize when to use the most appropriate approach in different circumstances
  • Develop confidence to approaching expected and unexpected challenging conversations
  • Utilize the ‘understand first’ principle when addressing concerns, problems and conflict
  • Learn how to apply a variety of successful assertive practices (strategies & techniques) into everyday interactions and communications through various case studies and role playing activities
  • Develop resiliency and composure using ‘respond vs react’ strategies when dealing with provoking or intense interactions
