Émilie Dion (CRHA, M. Sc.) will discuss who Canadian veterans are, outline the journey of military personnel, and discuss the challenges of this career. She will then discuss the transition from military life to civilian life and the issues and challenges associated with this transition. She will conclude by discussing the importance of workplace inclusion for veterans and the measures that can be put in place to support inclusion. The session will end with an opportunity for members of the community of practice to reflect on the results presented and potential implications.
