North, Room B101 (Governor's Board Room) This half-day workshop will provide information and skills necessary for developing an assertive approach to interpersonal communication.
Learning Objectives
- define passive, assertive, aggressive and passive-aggressive behaviour
- assess their level of assertiveness
- identify the benefits of applying assertiveness skills
- improve self-concept to increase assertive behaviour
- identify and implement strategies for improving assertive behaviours
- develop an action plan.
