North, Room B101 Humber is committed to equipping all employees with basic tools to effectively intervene and support students, co-workers, and members of the public who are experiencing mental health problems.
Learning Objectives
- Improve your understanding of mental illness.
- Minimize the fear and hesitation to become involved when you think someone is experiencing a mental health problem.
- Develop simple and effective intervention strategies that are relevant to your role in the college.
This 2-day workshop is scheduled for October 6 and October 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Note: Participants must attend both days for the certificate.
