From freshwater marshes to mangrove forests, wetlands around the world provide essential habitat while also doing their part to keep the planet healthy.
World Wetlands Day is an international celebration of these critical natural areas. Drop by the LRC Concourse at North Campus on Monday, February 3 to learn about the wonders of wetlands from Humber Arboretum staff.
When: Monday, February 3*, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
(*Officially World Wetlands Day is on February 2, but that falls on the weekend this year, so we're celebrating on Monday.)
Where: Learning Resource Commons (LRC) Concourse, near the first floor elevators.
Who: Everyone is welcome to stop by.
Interested but unable to attend? You can also read about wetlands on the Humber Arboretum website.
