Humber has identified its Strategic Priority #7 under Pillar #3, Healthy and Inclusive Community. We strive to build a diverse and inclusive community of exceptional students, faculty, and staff. This specific supporting action is to establish and implement an institutional framework and strategy for equity, diversity and inclusion that addresses the needs of both students and employees.

This month, we’re putting the Sustainability Spotlight on Ian Crookshank (he/him). 

The Dean of Students began his career at Humber in 2019. He oversees Student Success and Engagement, a department that includes Student Wellness and Equity, Student Transition and Academic Support, Athletics and Recreation, and Community Employment Services.  

Humber’s Panopto Support Resources have been redesigned from top to bottom. 

Research can be conducted in many ways (applied research or capstone projects) and to solve many problems (a new product, process improvement or simply a new tool for success). Humber College offers programs and hands-on learning opportunities that are career-focused and responsive to changes in competitive global job markets. Students are propelled along the journey of research and discovery, giving them a platform to develop skill sets that can get them job ready.

Students are welcome to join virtual and in-person activities taking place on November 30.
