Seeking Faculty & Staff Mentors for Student Equity Programs

In the coming academic year, Student Success and Engagement will be expanding programming efforts geared to student equity and inclusion. We are in the process of hiring a full-time Coordinator for The BASE (Black Academic Success and Engagement) program, supporting PRIDE, updating workshop materials and preparing for the new academic year.

The Student Diversity and Inclusion team, specifically the LGBTQ+ Resource Centre and The BASE, are looking for faculty and staff support as we expand the vision for our programs.

Interested faculty and staff can get involved in a number of ways, including:

  • Mentorship
  • Consultation on program and resource development
  • Facilitated discussions, events or participation on panels
