Over the course of one day, five brand new pieces of theatre will be written, cast, rehearsed and then performed publicly for your enjoyment!

Our playwrights will start writing as of 8 p.m. on Friday, February 8. The next morning, the resulting scripts will be handed-off to our directors who will audition actors in pairs. The rest of the day is spent rehearsing, collecting costumes and props, and capturing behind-the-scenes footage of the creation process in time for our live show at 8 p.m. on Saturday!

This event was made possible thanks to generous support from the Humber College Community Partnership Fund. 

This event brings together students from a minimum of four academic programs offered at Humber College who are given the opportunity to apply their education while gaining real-world experience in a hands-on learning environment. Though collaborating across disciplines towards one common goal. Humber Students will also serve as mentors to our high school participants, creating pathways to postsecondary education. 

Tickets are priced for accessibility. Anyone wishing to add a donation is welcome to do so online or on-site up to one hour prior to the start of the show! Ticket revenue will be reinvested in the community by way of much-needed supplies for our Community Partners, Lakeshore Arts and Regent Park Focus Youth Arts and Media Centre, as well as through a contribution to Humber College's Event Management Scholarship Fund.
