Engaging with Media and International Development
An International Education Week Event
Are you a student, faculty, or staff member at Humber College interested in international development and/or media? Are you keen on learning more about the relationship between the two and how you can contribute and get involved?
Humber College’s International Development Institute and Faculty of Media and Creative Arts invites the Humber Community to attend ‘International Storytelling: Advancing International Development Efforts through Media’. This event is a film screening of documentaries produced by students from the Bachelor of Film and Media Program during their trip to Kenya in support of the IDI’s KEFEP project.
It will include a panel discussion exploring the role of media in advancing international development efforts with varying perspectives. A short reception will follow to provide attendees the opportunity to network, share, and continue the conversation.
Light refreshments will be served.
