Humber is aware that earlier today, in order to help fight the spread of COVID-19, the Ontario Government ordered the mandatory closure of all non-essential workplaces effective as of Tuesday, March 24th at 11:59 p.m. This closure will be in effect for 14 days with the possible extension of this order as the situation evolves. A full list of businesses that are permitted to stay open will be released on Tuesday.

Once we receive the list of businesses and any further information, we will review and update the Humber community accordingly.

Even though the college is closed, there are limited operations on campus to support students who are still living in residence and to support essential services that align with critical activities of the college. There is a daily review of what is considered essential work. Employees who may have any questions about their work assignments should discuss those directly with their manager.
