#HumberAtHome Series – April 27

As we continue to work and learn at home, it’s important to stay connected to our colleagues and our community. To help keep us all connected, we created the #HumberAtHome series. We want to know about how you are taking care of your well-being right now, how your teams are adding a bit of fun into your interactions, and which resources are helping you.

Here are some examples of what members of the Humber community are doing to bring their community together:

Faculty of Media & Creative Arts

Check out the 2020 Humber College Virtual Icons Portfolio Show featuring Advertising Copywriting grads. The website also features Art Director and Graphic Design student portfolios. View all their books and get to know this year’s group of potential creative interns.

Café Linx

With the sun finally coming out, it’s the perfect day to try making a delicious Cold Brew Tea. View the recipe and video here. After you’re finished, let Café Linx know what you would like to see next.

Individual Tips from Humber Staff

Kalene Morgan, PRC faculty, has started the Humber community on a Wednesday Motivation/Vibe baking trend. Recognizing baking is good for the soul, plus fun, and creative, each week Kalene gets everyone to bake and share their creations. This is a great way of keeping people engaged and builds community spirit. Grads, students, professors and retired professors have all been joining in on the fun. Use #HumberPR and #baking when making your post on Twitter.

Please send us your #HumberAtHome photos, video clips and stories to bethany.sharpe@humber.ca.
