#HumberAtHome Series – May 13

As we continue to work and learn at home, it’s important to stay connected to our colleagues and our community. To help keep us all connected, we created the #HumberAtHome series. We want to know about how you are taking care of your well-being right now, how your teams are adding a bit of fun into your interactions, and which resources are helping you.

Here are some examples of what members of the Humber community are doing to bring their community together:

Humber Fitness North and Humber Lakeshore Athletics

Individual Tips from Humber Staff

Nivedita Lane, Community & Partnership Development Manager, has been spending time quarantining outside of Toronto. For self-care, Nivedita has been going on short walks over lunch and longer walks in the evenings to take in some fresh air and nature. You can see her beautiful scenery in the above pictures.

“I miss bookstores, libraries, cafes and the best of all these things, book cafes. To self care, I recommend snuggles with a pet friend, a blanket, giant mugs of tea and reading the latest releases and old favourites in e-book format from the Toronto Public Library.”
