Virtual Screening of The Story of Plastic

The Office of Sustainability is hosting a free virtual screening of The Story of Plastic.

About The Story of Plastic:

The Story of Plastic takes a sweeping look at the man-made crisis of plastic pollution and the worldwide effect it has on the health of our planet and the people who inhabit it. The film features interviews with experts and activists on the front lines of the fight, revealing disastrous consequences of the flood of plastic smother ecosystems and poisoning communities around the world, and the global movement that is rising in response.

The Story of Plastic is presented by The Story of Stuff Project, a non-profit dedicated to changing the way that we make, use and throw away stuff so that it is more sustainable, healthy, and fair.

Registration is required for this event. Attendees will receive a calendar invite with the link to stream the film 24-72 hours before the event start time. The link will be delivered to you at the email address you use to RSVP. We will reconvene on May 28 at 2:30 p.m. on Zoom for a Q&A discussion; you will receive a separate link for that event alongside the streaming link.

Space is limited, please RSVP here.
