Flexible Registration Project Launch

Humber recently launched the Flexible Registration project to replace FlexReg, the system currently used to register students in continuous and professional learning and corporate training workshops, courses and programs.

This project will provide a modern, agile registration system known as Destiny One. Destiny One enables lifecycle engagement with learners from first contact and throughout a learner’s career. It allows Humber to continue to meet the needs of our current and future non-postsecondary learners.

The Flexible Registration project is an important element of Humber’s flexible learning strategy aimed at increasing access to innovative learning options and creating opportunities for revenue diversification. The importance of this project has become more evident over the past several months as a result of the pandemic: more than ever, governments, businesses and individuals are looking to short-term and rapid, non-postsecondary learning as a means to recover from the effects of economic disruption.

The Flexible Registration project aligns with the Accessible Education pillar in the Humber 2018-2023 Strategic Plan and with the flexible learning strategy outlined in Humber’s Academic Plan. Further, it supports the goal of reaching new learners and increasing access within the Humber Digital Campus Plan.
