Today marks the first anniversary of the Real Estate Salesperson Program. Through e-learning and Simulation Sessions, Humber delivers the program on behalf of the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) and in partnership with NIIT Canada. Congratulations to the entire Humber Real Estate Education Program team, and a special thank you to Miguel Lameiro, associate dean, and Paula MacDougall, operations manager, for their leadership. Thanks to all program staff for your hard work and support in launching and growing this monumental program.

There is much to celebrate. Together, we have achieved hiring the operations team from scratch; opening the Education & Training Solutions building; delivering the program across Ontario and transitioning in-person program elements to virtual delivery, ensuring learners are able to continue their studies during the pandemic. To date, learners have completed more than 15,000 exams with a pass rate of 75 per cent.

We are also on track for future milestones including the launch of the Post-Registration program in the Fall and the Broker program this coming Winter.
