Intro to Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL): Creating Virtual Experiences Across the Globe

We invite all faculty and staff interested in intercultural innovation at Humber to attend a workshop introducing COIL – or Collaborative Online International Learning – which provides students with project-based, co-taught intercultural learning experiences by faculty/staff at two or more partner institutions in different parts of the world.

COIL allows for authentic and equitable opportunities for intercultural and experiential learning for students within their already existing Humber program!

This workshop will guide you through an introduction to COIL – its purpose, benefits, structure, and how to get started. Through collaborative assignments, (capstone) projects, applied research, and/or WIL experiences, COIL supports the development of 21st-century workforce skills in the Humber Learning Outcomes (HLOs) framework and provides opportunities for applied learning experiences.

Registration is required here.

We look forward to seeing you there!
