16 Days of Activism Keynote

The Consent Peer Education Program is thrilled to have Dr. Silvia D'Addario joining us on Thursday, December 10 for a keynote to wrap up our 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence! Join us at 2 p.m. on December 10 as Dr. D'Addario walks us through her own story of gender-based violence, explores the impact of COVID-19 on gender-based violence, and raises considerations for addressing gender-based violence systemically from an intersectional lens. After Dr. D'Addario's keynote, we will take a moment to honour survivors and victims of gender-based violence with a candlelit vigil; participants are encouraged to have a candle ready and turn on their cameras to join in the vigil.

To register for Dr D'Addario's keynote, visit the event page on EventBrite; to learn more about the other programming the Consent Peer Education Program is facilitating for 16 Days of Activism, visit our 16 Days webpage.
