Affordable Housing Research Information Sessions and Workshops

Are you concerned about affordable housing?

Humber College, along with community partners, is currently involved in a three-year research project focused on affordable housing needs in South Etobicoke. We are now organizing a series of virtual workshops and information sessions to provide details on the project, how to obtain accessible housing, and recruit members for an advisory committee.

Upcoming workshops:

  • Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. - Affordable Housing
  • Tuesday, March 16 at 7 p.m. - Know Your Rights

Questions that will be answered:

  • How to get on the affordable housing list
  • How to use the rent bank if you are behind on rent
  • How to get the portable housing subsidy
  • Tenant rights and the law around evictions
