2021 Support Staff Professional Development Event

Thank you to all our support staff who attended the 2021 Support Staff Professional Development virtual event. This year was unlike any other, but you adapted, re-built, and transformed. You continue to grow and overcome the challenges faced last year and into this year to support colleagues, students and the Humber community. Thank you!

Our facilitators of the sessions reminded and taught us of how we can:

  • Overcome the challenges during change
  • Be resilient and lead to gain trust
  • Use simple tools to help safeguard our well-being
  • Be mindful and use strategies to manage stress
  • Adapt to a new normal and thrive
  • Be thankful and be grateful, which helps to cultivate happiness and see life positively

A big thanks to our ITS team. Without their support, we would not have been able to deliver this event. Special shout out to Joao Silva and Peter Weinzettl.
