4th Annual Soka Education Research Centre on Global Citizenship Special Lecture

The fourth annual Soka Education Research Centre on Global Citizenship Special Lecture will take place virtually on November 18 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. This special lecture is an exciting tradition as we have the opportunity to hear from experts in Soka education and global citizenship.

This year, we are so pleased to welcome Dr. Hiroko Tomioka. Dr. Tomioka is a professor at Soka University in Japan, as well as an esteemed member of the Ikeda Research Institute for Soka Education. She will be speaking about Soka education founder Tsunesaburo Makiguchi’s unique pedagogy, it’s historical context, the foundation and purpose of Soka education, as well as the dynamic processes of positive societal contribution and transformation.
