Morning Session (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) 3D Scanning Hands-on Workshop
Join us for a morning of hands-on learning to discover 3D scanning from the Barrett Centre’s 3D technology partner Javelin Technologies and their scanning technical experts. Common in manufacturing and growth in arts, medical studies, archeology, forensics, animation, and film, 3D scanning is becoming pervasive across a broad expanse of industries. You’ll get hands-on experience with a variety of scanners that can handle everything from jewelry to the human form to the entire Barrett Centre atrium.
Afternoon Session (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.) Additive Manufacturing Workshop (with a tour of Javelin Additive Manufacturing Lab)
Join in to learn: “How do you choose the right additive manufacturing technology and the right materials?” We’ll also discuss applications and the parameters to determine if additive is the right fit (at this time). The session includes a tour of the Javelin Additive lab and Barrett’s new F900 large format engineering material 3D printer. Presented by Barrett Centre’s 3D technology partner Javelin Technologies and their additive experts.
