About the Event

Interested in learning more about what 2SLGBTQI Safer Campuses look, sound and feel like? This 90-minute lunch and learn is a great opener, offering campus staff and faculty a quick overview of the possibilities when it comes to creating inclusive campus environments for staff and students of all genders and sexualities.

This session offers an introduction to understanding key components of identity that inform the language of the 2SLGBTQI acronym.  We’ll also think a bit about our own complex and intersecting identities, and how to engage across differences in safer and respectful ways at work and beyond.

Ending with a question and answer period, this session is ideal for folks unsure of where to start this work, providing a strong foundation in understanding the ways in which creating 2SLGBTQI  safer campuses can positively impact people of all gender and attraction identities. Vibrant, activity-filled, and non-judgmental, participants are guaranteed to leave this session in a rainbow state of mind.
