Working with Invasives - Garlic Mustard

Get outside and take a delicious dive into the world of invasive plants on May 7.

Eat your weeds! The Humber Arboretum presents this workshop from our friends at Sustainable Roots Ecological Restoration. For the first session of their 'Working with Invasives' series, Sustainable Roots' outdoor educator Reid takes a deep dive into Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata). Learn how to identify garlic mustard, proper management strategies, and how to prepare it into yummy dishes! There will be samples to try, recipes to bring home, and an opportunity to help remove some invasive species at the Humber Arboretum.
