Math and Research CoP Event: SilverDecisions

The Math and Research Community of Practice (CoP) is pleased to invite you to its first event this fall term! Join us as we explore SilverDecisions, an impressive open-source software for creating and analyzing decision trees.

For creating and analyzing decision trees, some of our faculty have recently switched their attention from TreePlan Decision Tree Excel Add-in to an open-source SilverDecisions software. It seems that this switch has worked out perfectly as both students and our faculty members are happy for this change. The first meeting is dedicated to exploring the basic and advance potentials of this software.

Our guests for this meeting is professor Bogumił Kamiński, associate professor and Head of the Decision Analysis and Support Unit at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and his team. They have developed SilverDecisions software for creating and analyzing decision trees.

For this meeting, they will talk about “Building decision trees and using variables and functions in SilverDecisions”. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session.
