Humber Arboretum Nature Camp: Fantastic Freshwater

Register your kids by July 24 for Fantastic Freshwater week at the Humber Arboretum.

Humber Arboretum day camps are based out of the Centre for Urban Ecology, but campers spend most of their time outdoors where they make their own discoveries in the forest, river, meadows, wetlands, gardens, and ponds of the Humber Arboretum.

Every week at Humber Arboretum Nature Camp includes nature walks, pond discovery, art and ecology, camp songs and games, and indoor swimming on Fridays. The weekly theme inspires other activities:

Fantastic Freshwater - Monday, July 31 to Friday, August 4, 2023

This week campers will have a chance to discover the life that exists within the ponds, river and wetlands of the Humber Arboretum! They will learn about the importance of freshwater for our own survival and why the Humber River watershed is so important to the Toronto region’s biodiversity.

Special Guests: Learn about Ontario's native turtle species with the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre.
