Save the Date: Under Pressure: Disruptive Demographic Change, Its Impact on Labour Markets and the Clear Path Forward

Join ORI for Under Pressure: Disruptive Demographic Change, Its Impact on Labour Markets and the Clear Path Forward.

On behalf of Dr. Ginger Grant, dean, Research and Innovation and the Aging in Community Education and Research hub (ACER), we are excited to invite you to hear Bradley Schurman speak at North Campus on Wednesday, October 4 from 5 p.m. to  7:00 p.m. (light refreshments provided, Q&A).

Bradley Schurman, author of the book The Super Age, is an expert on demographic change and how it disrupts worldwide social, cultural, political and economic norms.

Three key messages you can expect from Bradley’s talk include:

  • Demographic change directly impacts the Canadian workforce and economy and we must act on labour challenges today
  • Older workers present the best opportunity to grow the Canadian economy during this period of disruptive demographic change
  • Leading companies worldwide proactively engage older workers through inclusive recruitment and retention practices and strategies that leverage the power of the generations

You will receive registration details for this event during the first week in September.

Please mark your calendars now.
