Well-Being at Humber: Be There for Yourself and Others

Mental Health Training for Students, Student Leaders, and Student Staff 

Student Wellness and Equitable Learning is offering training for learners on how to understand mental health and recognize when a peer needs support. 

The Well-being at Humber: Be There for Yourself and Others is an interactive 90-minute training with case studies and strategies and part of the college's efforts to raise awareness of learner mental health. Learners will receive CCR recognition for completing the training.

Online:

  • Thursday, October 5 - 12 p.m to 1:30 p.m. 
  • Wednesday, November 22 - 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Lakeshore Campus:

  • Thursday, November 2 - 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. (B307) 
  • Monday, November 20 - 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (C108) 

North Campus:

  • Monday, October 16 - 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (D239) 
  • Tuesday, October 31 - 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. (H407)

The workshop is also available on request. Departments, managers, and program coordinators supervising learners can submit a request for training.
