During this session, participants will learn to design lessons that align learning activities and assessments with learning outcomes. Participants will review lesson plan templates and become familiar with different lesson plan models that are used to ensure learning outcomes, assessments and teaching strategies are aligned and responsive to a variety of learning contexts.
At the end of this session, you will be able to:
- Describe the purpose of creating an effective and inclusive lesson plan
- Recognize the components of a lesson plan
- Review and analyze lesson plan templates for in-person or online classroom environment
- Ideate teaching and learning strategies and assessment to align with lesson goals
