Annually Humber College participates in Take Our Kids to Work Day. This is an experiential learning event for Grade 9 children of Humber and the University of Guelph-Humber employees.

This year, the program will be held on Wednesday, November 1 and will be hosted by Humber College at the North Campus and the Lakeshore Campus. 

Students will get a chance to explore a variety of careers and sectors through a tour of our learning spaces on campus and will learn what skills are important to thrive in the world of work. They will also participate in a Vision Writing and Goal Setting Workshop which will be hosted by Global Leadership Speaker, Carla Cuglietta, as well as a Job Search Workshop where they will learn how to write effective resumes and cover letters, useful job search techniques, and interview preparation strategies. 

The goal of this event is to empower students to make informed decisions and ignite their curiosity of what is possible for their future. 

Interested employees that would like to have their grade 9 kid participate, please complete the Take Our Kids to Work Day Registration Form by Wednesday, October 25. Once you complete the registration form, a member of our team will contact you via email with details for the event.
