As we approach the holidays, I want to personally express my gratitude to every member of the Humber community. Your dedication and contributions are invaluable.
Your ongoing hard work and commitment to our students are truly inspiring, and it has played a significant role in Humber’s success this past year. Notable highlights include the Barrett Family Foundation's historic gift, the Schulich Builders: Scholarships for Skilled Trades announcement with the Premier, Schulich family and presidents from nine other colleges, the launch of Project SWITCH that will put us on course for a more sustainable future, and the many awards and recognitions given to students and employees. Well done, Humber!
To recognize your dedication and show our appreciation, the College will officially close for our annual holiday break at the end of the business day on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Humber College will reopen on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
There will be business operations and pay considerations related to this closure and People(s) and Culture will provide details on how to handle employee scheduling and time entries related to this closure to all managers. Employees can access key payroll calendar dates on this webpage.
While many will be away from Humber during this time, it’s important to recognize that there will still be a staff presence on campus. For those employees working during the holiday period, thank you for your dedication to the Humber community.
