Library Spotlight: National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

December 6, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, is a day on which we remember and honour the fourteen women murdered at the École Polytechnique in Montréal on December 6, 1989 and others who suffer from, or have been lost to, violence against women and other gender-based violence. As well, on this day, we commit ourselves to preventing ongoing violence against women and gender-based violence more generally.
