Turn Your Campus into a Green Living Lab

Do you have a project in mind that could help reduce greenhouse gas emissions on campus? Colleges and Institutes Canada wants to help bring Humber's ideas of reaching net zero to life, through the Campus Living Labs Network. You could receive funding for your project idea that centres on providing awareness for greenhouse gas emissions reduction through one of the following themes: Indigenous knowledge and practices, food, waste, transportation, and buildings and land management.

A living lab project means integrating applied research and teaching with campus planning, infrastructure, operations, and/or community development in a way that enhances the impact of sustainability projects.

Humber’s Office of Sustainability wants to hear ideas from staff and faculty, so please share your ideas with us by emailing sustainability@humber.ca ahead of making an official submission.

Submissions are due to CICAN by February 15, so make sure to email the Office of Sustainability ahead of this date.
