The Cannabis Education Research Team (CERT), a group of faculty from Humber and Memorial University led by Dr. Daniel Bear, has launched a new survey supporting their Pharmacists as Cannabis Educators (PACE) research project. The team is building new continuing education programming for pharmacists across Canada by consulting with pharmacists and consumers about what knowledge they possess about cannabis and what information about cannabis they'd be interested in receiving at a pharmacy. Help them today by taking a short survey.

An NSERC Colleges and Community Social Innovation Fund grant funds the project. The team has partnered with the Canadian Pharmacists Association, the Canadian Public Health Association, and the Canadian Centre for Substance Use and Addiction. 

Two surveys are now active: one for people who have ever consumed cannabis and one for pharmacists. After the surveys are analyzed, consumers and pharmacists will work together to co-develop new educational materials for pharmacists, as well as in-store handouts and other materials that pharmacists can provide to consumers. 

The team wants to encourage all eligible members of the Humber community to participate. The team can provide digital assets or other content to faculty or staff who wish to share the survey with students, friends, or family.
