Moose Hide Campaign Day

In partnership with Student Equity and Inclusion, we are pleased to announce that Moose Hide Campaign Day will be observed at 1:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the North Campus Spirituality and Wellness Centre in room LRC 2112. This will include the livestream originating from Victoria, BC and will feature a keynote speaker Dr. Marie Wilson, and message from Raven and Paul Lacerte.

Join us before the viewing in IE&E, LRC 2137 for a smudge and food at 12:45 p.m.

The Moose Hide Campaign is an Indigenous-led movement with the purpose of engaging men and boys to take a stand against violence towards women and children. Support towards this cause can be shown by wearing a moose hide pin. This pin is a way of demonstrating your commitment to the safety of women and children in your life.

In support of this initiative, pins will be available for pickup starting Monday, May 13.
