If you use a ladder or a multi-step stepstool in the course of your work, it is important to know how to safely work with and around ladders to avoid injuries and incidents. For all Humber employees (including work study students) that use a ladder as part of their work activities, you are required to complete Humber’s Ladder Safety Awareness Training course.
Occupational Health and Safety Services will be holding training sessions periodically, with the next session scheduled for Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in GH225. To register for this session:
- Speak with your manager; they will inform you of your need to receive this training based on your work activities.
- If approved by your Manager, send an email to healthandsafety@humber.ca with the following information:
- Full name
- Employee number (n-number)
- Department/faculty
- Manager/associate dean:
