Sustainable Gardening and Climate Change Considerations - Free Online Workshop

Join the Etobicoke Master Gardeners (EMG) and the Humber Arboretum online to learn how to have a successful and sustainable garden. We'll cover a variety of topics, such as:

  • how to select your plants with a focus on native plants
  • what plants need to thrive
  • how to prepare your soil
  • watering strategies
  • understanding your climate
  • considerations of climate change
  • plant hardiness zones
  • changes in the sun exposure in your garden with increased development.

This workshop is part of the Eco-Garden Community Workshop series hosted by the Etobicoke Master Gardeners and Humber Arboretum throughout the year.
