Indigenous Education Plan Launch

Join Indigenous Education & Engagement for the launch of our new Indigenous Education Plan — a living framework for collective action that invites our community to carry forward reconciliation through education that is meaningful, relational, and accountable.

All students, staff, faculty, and community members are invited to join us at Humber North Campus, Barrett CTI - Polytainers Atrium, on December 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature remarks from Humber leadership, a keynote address, an overview of the plan, and time to connect over light appetizers.

We are honoured to welcome Jennifer Wemigwans as our keynote speaker. Jennifer is Anishinaabe from Wiikwemikoong Unceded Reserve and an Associate Professor at OISE, University of Toronto. She is the author of A Digital Bundle: Protecting and Promoting Indigenous Knowledge Online and is recognized for her work producing cultural resources and ethically translating Indigenous knowledge in collaboration with Elders and Knowledge Keepers across the Americas.
