Professional Writing and Communications (PWC) graduate certificate students are seeking full‑time spring and summer work placements (May to August), and we invite faculty to help connect students with potential hosts!
PWC students are prepared for roles in various fields, including:
- Grant and proposal writing
- Social media management
- Content development
- Editing, and more
The work-integrated learning experience should allow students to:
- Demonstrate proficiency in adhering to professional communications best practices
- Collaborate effectively within a professional team environment
- Respond appropriately to organizational procedures, protocols, and expectations
- Apply core communications strategies and skills
- Manage time well by completing assigned work accurately and on schedule
