CONGRATULATIONS…

…to this year’s Staff Initiated Research Fund (SIRF) awardees! We received 15 applications this year, and are pleased to be able to fund 10 projects! The following proposals were recommended for funding by the SIRF adjudication committee and approved by the Dean of Research.

Please note that the next SIRF cycle will be announced in December 2013 for the 2013/14 fiscal year. Given applications of comparable quality, applicants not previously SIRF-funded will be given priority over previously funded applicants.

NEW: The Research Office will be launching a new program to support faculty who want to get involved with research but don’t have a fully developed research question. Watch for information on DAIR (Developing Activities and Ideas for Research) and the first recipients of this exciting initiative, including how you can apply. More details coming soon!
