Open House this Wednesday! Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre

Date/Time:
February 25, 2015 - 6:00pm
Where:
Lakeshore Campus, Room A170

Did you know that Humber's Lakeshore campus was once home to the Mimico Branch Asylum? It was also a large aboriginal trading path and is still home to a rich natural landscape.

Set to open in 2016, the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre will take up 200 square feet of Humber College's new Welcome Centre at the corner of Lakeshore Blvd. W. and Kipling Ave. in Toronto.

Through arts, culture, and storytelling, the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre will be a space of harmony and knowledge around themes of education, mental health, Aboriginal history, environmental sustainability, and civic engagement.

Join us for our first Open House and share your voice!

WHEN: Wednesday February 25th 6:00pm to 8:00pm & Sunday March 1st 1:00pm to 3:00pm
WHERE: Humber College, Lakeshore Campus, 3199 Lake Shore Boulevard West, Toronto, ON M8V 1K8, Building A/B. Room A170
