Traditional economics is based on the strong assumption that market participants are fully rational. But there is an alternative view to consider: that humans are prone to behavioural biases that impact financial decisions in concrete ways. In this lecture, Dr. Lisa Kramer will provide an entertaining introduction to some exciting developments in the field of behavioural finance. Audience members will be recruited to demonstrate these concepts in real time, leaving us with a new appreciation of how the mind affects our money.
