The Business School Placement Centre participated in the Woodbine Mile End of Summer Party on Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Woodbine Racetrack. Humber College was represented in a fun filled tent where attendees had the opportunity to learn about the programs offered at Humber College, play games and win prizes. It was a great opportunity to support our community partner, Woodbine Entertainment Group, meet some future Humber students and a fun-filled opportunity for Humber College students to network and garner experience in event management.

During the event Woodbine Entertainment Group gave away bursaries to students who attended the event. Two of our lucky volunteers, Sarah and Paola, each won $1000 to help them pay for their education.

A special thanks to the enthusiastic and energetic team at The Placement Centre, including Paul Griffin (Associate Dean), Antoniette DiMarco (Manager), Laurie Bradford, Mary Cantisano, Allison Scully (Business Degree Placement Advisors); and another special thanks to the Humber College students who assisted and attended the Woodbine Mile.
