WWF Shoreline Cleanup

Want to do your part for our lakes and rivers? It's estimated that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish!

The Office of Sustainability and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) are organizing the first annual WWF shoreline clean up of Lake Ontario and the Humber River during Earth Week. All participants will receive a free t-shirt, swag and snacks. This is a fun event for your friends and for team building.

Want to participate? Register on Eventbrite for the Lake or North shoreline cleanups.

Cleanup equipment will be provided, please be sure to mind your personal safety when approaching the shoreline.
