June 3, 2016

The Capital Development/Facilities Department is pleased to be welcoming two new members to the Humber College community!

Facilities Management is welcoming Chris Nanos to the position of Manager, Plant Services at the North Campus – he will be taking over from Larry Rinaldo, who recently retired from Humber College. Chris will be responsible for the maintenance and operations of all electrical, heating and cooling systems for the campus. Chris has a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University, and has worked for organizations including Bayer, Carillion Canada and Sheridan College. He is a seasoned facility management professional with over 25 years of experience including extensive project management knowledge.

We would also like to introduce Joe Chimenti, who has accepted a new appointment to the Capital Development/Facilities Department as Associate Director, Capital Development. Joe has bachelor degrees in both Architecture and Architectural Technology, and has his PMP (Project Management Professional) designation. Having extensive experience as a project manager in the public sector, Joe comes most recently from Infrastructure Ontario where he delivered several large scale hospital projects. Prior to I.O., Joe was involved with both St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre, the Region of Peel and IMAX in their project divisions. Joe is active in community volunteering, he is an avid cyclist and will be participating in the 2016 Ride to Conquer Cancer from Toronto to Niagara Falls (his 5th year in a row) in June.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Chris and Joe!
