The Next Five-Year Strategic Plan

Colleagues,

Over the past six months, the Humber community has engaged in a wide-ranging consultation process to develop our next five-year strategic plan. Together we have engaged in dialogue about Humber’s future and the ways in which we can support successful student outcomes. The Strategic Planning Steering Committee (SPSC) has listened carefully to students, faculty, staff and employers, as well as our partners in the community, and has worked hard to identify shared priorities and distill feedback. A draft document containing the high-level elements of the proposed plan has been posted on the Imagine Humber website for faculty and staff to review. I encourage you to take a few moments to look through it.

As the final step in Humber’s collaborative, iterative consultation process, I am pleased to invite all faculty and staff to attend one of two Town Hall meetings to share your thoughts on the draft plan. The Town Hall meetings will be live-streamed to the Imagine Humber staff website, and viewers can submit comments and questions online in during the Q&A session. Members of the SPSC and the Executive Team will also be on hand to listen to your feedback and respond to questions.

  • Tuesday, May 7 at North Campus
    4 p.m. - 6 p.m. (Seventh Semester)
  • Monday, May 13 at Lakeshore Campus
    11 a.m.- 1 p.m. (L1017)

I hope you will plan to attend one of the sessions, and look forward to the discussion.
