Welcome back! As we all take a deep breath and jump into the excitement of a new academic year, I’d like to thank everyone for an energizing and inspiring official launch of the 2013-2018 Strategic Plan at the President’s Breakfast. This year promises to be both exciting and interesting as we begin implementation of our new five-year plan and continue working towards our vision of “leadership in polytechnic education.”

Now that the plan has been finalized, we want to keep the momentum going through continued engagement with our diverse communities as we begin to deliver on our commitments. One important way we will do this is through regular Town Hall meetings on key components of the Strategic Plan. Faculty, staff and students are invited to learn together and share perspectives within an atmosphere of open dialogue and continuous improvement.

Following the successful format of the Strategic Plan Town Halls last spring, we will ensure that the Town Halls are live-streamed to ensure access at all campuses and sites, and will provide additional background information on the internal Imagine Humber website. More information will be available in the coming weeks, but we hope that you will take this opportunity to save these dates in your calendar to attend this year’s Town Hall meetings and stay engaged and energized.
