Retirement Announcement - Michael Hatton, Vice-President, Academic

With 37 years of outstanding service and dedication to Humber, Michael Hatton, Vice-President, Academic, has decided to enjoy retirement and take on new adventures, effective August 31, 2013. Michael first joined Humber in 1976 as a faculty member and has progressively moved into senior administrative roles.

Michael’s first administrative position was as Chairman in the Human Studies Division, he then became the Assistant Campus Principal at Lakeshore Campus. Michael was also the Dean of the School of Media Studies, Dean, The Business School, Dean of the School of Health Sciences and the Associate Vice-President, Strategic Growth prior to his most recent role as Vice-President, Academic, for the last 8 years. During his tenure, Michael has significantly contributed to our growth in the international arena and success as a polytechnic institution.

Although we will miss Michael, he has worked hard throughout his career and has earned the opportunity to enjoy more time with family and friends.
