Statement of Condolence

The Humber College and University of Guelph-Humber communities are shocked and saddened by the tragic events that took place along Yonge Street yesterday. Flags at all campuses will be flown at half-mast out of respect for the victims of this terrible incident and their families.

Our thoughts are with them as well as the first responders, witnesses and people who have been impacted across Toronto and beyond. Amidst the tragedy, those on the scene exhibited great bravery and compassion.

Humber and U of G-H are committed to supporting all members of our community. If needed, students are encouraged to seek support from the Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre (humber.ca/student-life/swac/). Employees can contact the Employee Assistance Program (hrs.humber.ca/support/support-resources/benefitsresources/benefits/perks/employee-assistance-program.html).-life/swac/).

It is during times like these that our community has always shown its ability to come together.
