Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber are committed to building a culture of consent on campus and the prevention of sexual and gender-based violence for all Humber and the University of Guelph-Humber members. Over the last several years, we have made a significant effort to raise awareness and increase support for students regarding visibility and autonomy over their sexual health.
The Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Coordinator and Consent Peer Education Program has focused on providing consent education, teaching safe bystander intervention, raising awareness of supports and resources available, as well as working with local community agencies to support students who report sexual violence. Our goal is to provide sexual education that is accessible and caters to our diverse community.
If you have been sexually assaulted and you need emergency services, please call 911; more emergency and non-emergency contact information is available.
