• Michaela: Hello! I’m Michaela and I’m currently in my fourth year of the Bachelor of Nursing program. As a proud member of the 2SLGTBQIA+ community and a person of color, I've gained a profound appreciation for the importance of inclusivity and empathy in healthcare. My experience spans across various age groups, from children to adults, and encompasses both physical and mental health care. I find immense joy in being an open and compassionate listener, offering my ear to anyone who needs it. As a future nurse, my passion lies in making a positive impact on people's lives, and active listening is a fundamental part of that journey. I'm here to lend an empathetic ear, to understand, and to support you in any way I can.

  • Janice: Hey! I’m Janice, and I am in my fourth year in the Behavioural Science degree program, and I am a first-generation Canadian from an immigrant family. I have worked at Humber for over 2 years in different roles, from PALS, to IGNITE, so I am incredibly knowledgeable and resourceful of all services available at Humber/UGH to help you during your time here. Everyone’s experience through Humber/UGH is different, so I strive to help listen, encourage, guide, and learn with students to promote a healthy life in and out of campus! I also work with children, youth, and adults with complex needs in the community, such as ASD and developmental disabilities and have a passion for supporting everyone and anyone from a holistic and individualistic perspective.
